Intro to Ayurveda
Ayur means "life" & Veda "knowledge" Ayurveda emerged from the theoretical texts of India called the Vedas, or Books of Wisdom. Ayurveda teaches us how to live in harmony with nature and how to recognize the power of self-healing from within. Health is looked at as not just physical health but emotional, social and universal.
This 3 part workshop will provide you with a working knowledge of Ayurveda as it relates directly to YOU. You will gain an understanding of the unique combination of elements composing your body and learn how to apply this understanding to your lifestyle, diet, and Yoga practice. The combination of Yoga and Ayurveda working together in our lives can ultimately provide a longer, healthier life with greater clarity and profound peace.
